Things that annoy me #1:
The Mystery of Travelling with Jewellry.
Its happened as long as I remember. Be it in my handbag, or in hand-luggage as I travel abroad. I never tip my bag upside down or throw it around - on purpose anyway. On board the plane I’ll open up my neatly placed luggage from underneath the seat in front (I’m not one to break the rules) and pick out a book which will be exactly where I placed it. UNTOUCHED, UNRUFFLED AND EXACTLY WHERE I PLACED IT.
Let’s say later I wanted to put a necklace on for when I get off the plane (?). I open up the zip compartment and BAM every single chain, charm and freaking clasp are wrapped around each other. It takes me hours of sitting there quietly cursing to pull them apart. How does this happen? Am I carrying around the borrowers in my luggage? Or is my jewellery possesed? Is there a minute electrical charge or something?!? Regardless, I’m seriously considering padlocks.
